The father of Modern Art, Édouard Manet brought forward new ideas of human existence in his art style of Impressionism and expressive brushstrokes. In his work, he invites his viewers closer to the subject matter by making the spectator relate to it. In his art, we can enjoy a sense of human relatedness and admire with nostalgia what once was known as real, mythological narratives.
